Wizz Air Settles Disruption Claims with £1.2m Payment to Passengers
Budget airline Wizz Air has agreed to pay an additional £1.2 million to passengers following intervention by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) over its handling of flight disruptions. The regulator stepped in after receiving numerous complaints about the airline's failure to compensate affected passengers adequately. The CAA instructed Wizz Air to re-evaluate thousands of rejected claims for expenses incurred due to flight disruptions.
